Roter Veltliner - Grape Variety

Roter Veltliner is a very old Austrian grape variety that has produced a number of notable offspring, including Rotgipfler and Neuberger. It produces full-bodied, spicy and quite exotic dry white wines. It is unrelated to Gruner Veltliner and is generally losing vineyard area over time.
