Young and Lithe

Wine changes in bottle over time (beneficially, if kept in the right conditions which is why the safe bet is always to buy the wine on first release then store it properly). Wines at this stage, Young and Lithe, give one the first opportunity to assess and get to know one's purchases. Bright and full of fresh fruit, this is also often the stage at which the stamp of terroir is most easy to perceive.
